Illinois High School Softball - Clinton Monticello

In Wednesday's non-league outing, the visiting Monticello Sages softball team scored a close 4-0 win over the Clinton Maroons.

Coming up next, the Sages encounter the Tolono Unity Rockets (Tolono, IL) in a Illini Prairie outing, on Thursday, April 13. Monticello will attempt to upgrade on its 5-5 season record. The Rockets enter the outing with a 6-4 record after their 11-1 non-league win over Okaw Valley (Bethany, IL).

The Maroons (3-11) will now prepare for their outing against Central A & M (Moweaqua, IL). The Raiders enter the Central Illinois outing with a 1-6 record. In their last outing, Central A & M was routed by Windsor/Stewardson-Strasburg (Windsor, IL), 7-6, in a non-league outing.
