The Galatia/Thompsonville Bearcats softball team scored 14 runs and limited the host Cobden Appleknockers to 12 in the Bearcats non-league triumph on Wednesday.

With the triumph, Galatia/Thompsonville improves its record to 4-9 on the year. The Bearcats host Carrier Mills-Stonefort (Carrier Mills, IL) to clash with the Wildcats in a Greater Egyptian game on Thursday, April 13. The Wildcats come into the game with a record of 0-6. Carrier Mills-Stonefort lost 12-8 in their recent non-league game against Vienna (Vienna, IL)

In their next game, the Appleknockers clash with the Century Centurions (Ullin, IL) in a South Egyptian game, on Tuesday, April 18. Cobden will attempt to improve on its 0-5 season record.
