Ohio High School Softball - Columbiana bounces Southern

The Columbiana Clippers routed the host Southern Indians softball squad by a final score of 23-1 in Wednesday's non-league battle.

The Clippers (9-2) will now prepare for their battle against Springfield (New Middletown, OH). The Tigers go into the non-league battle with a 5-2 record. In their last battle, Springfield topped Waterloo (Atwater, OH), 9-5, in a league battle.

The Indians now possess a 2-5 record. They play next when they travel to Beaver for a non-league battle on Saturday, April 15. Southern will meet a Beavers squad coming off a 11-4 non-league win over East Liverpool (East Liverpool, OH). The Beavers record now stands at 4-4.
