Tennessee High School Softball - Copper Basin tipped by Robbinsville

In Wednesday's non-league contest, the Robbinsville Black Knights (Robbinsville, NC) softball team the host Copper Basin Cougars (Copperhill, TN), by a margin of 3-1.

With the triumph, Robbinsville moves its record to 10-2 on the year. The Black Knights host Smoky Mountain (Sylva, NC) to play the Mustangs in a non-league contest on Monday, April 17. The Mustangs come into the contest with a record of 1-12. Smoky Mountain lost 18-0 in their recent league contest against Pisgah (Canton, NC)

In their next game, the Cougars play the McMinn Central Chargers (Englewood, TN) in a non-league contest, on Thursday, April 13. Copper Basin will attempt to move on its 5-6 season record. The Chargers come into the contest with a 0-11 record after their 17-1 league loss to Roane County (Kingston, TN).
