Sunapee Lakers (Sunapee, NH) backers exited the stadium thrilled Wednesday as they saw their softball squad run past the host Franklin Tornadoes (Franklin, NH), 28-10 in a non-league challenge.
The Lakers now own a 2-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Pittsfield for a Division IV challenge on Friday, April 14. Sunapee will battle a Panthers squad coming off a 15-4 league win over Newmarket (Newmarket, NH). The Panthers record now stands at 2-1.
With the loss, Franklin falls to 0-1 on the campaign. The Tornadoes travel to Wilton-Lyndeborough (Wilton, NH) to battle the Warriors in a non-league challenge on Friday, April 14. The Warriors enter the challenge with a record of 0-0.
