Fruitland Grizzlies (Fruitland, ID) backers exited the stadium thrilled Wednesday as they saw their softball squad run past the visiting Parma Panthers (Parma, ID), 15-5 in a league challenge.

The Grizzlies now own a 3-10 record. They take the field next when they travel to Nyssa for a non-league challenge on Friday, April 14. Fruitland will face a Bulldogs squad coming off a 20-0 league loss to Vale (Vale, OR). The Bulldogs record now stands at 2-4.

With the loss, Parma falls to 3-7 on the campaign. The Panthers travel to Homedale (Homedale, ID) to face the Trojans in a 3A Snake River Valley challenge on Monday, April 17. The Trojans enter the challenge with a record of 12-5. Homedale won 5-0 in their recent league challenge against Payette (Payette, ID)
