Kings Park Kingsmen (Kings Park, NY) backers exited the stadium thrilled Wednesday as they saw their softball squad nip the host John Glenn Knights (Elwood, NY), 8-5 in a league challenge.

The Kingsmen now own a 5-0 record. They take the field next when they host Half Hollow Hills East for a non-league challenge on Friday, April 14. Kings Park will battle a Thunderbirds squad coming off a 5-3 league loss to Bay Shore (Bay Shore, NY). The Thunderbirds record now stands at 0-1.

With the loss, John Glenn falls to 3-1 on the campaign. The Knights travel to Harborfields (Greenlawn, NY) to battle the Tornadoes in a Section 11 A-5 challenge on Friday, April 14. The Tornadoes enter the challenge with a record of 1-3. Harborfields lost 12-0 in their recent league challenge against Babylon (Babylon, NY)
