Spectators at Wednesday's league match between the Wayne Valley Indians (Wayne, NJ) and the host Lakeland Regional Lancers (Wanaque, NJ), witnessed Wayne Valley's softball squad tip Lakeland Regional by a count of 8-4.

The Indians now sport a 1-2 record. They play next when they host Passaic County Tech for a Big North match on Friday, April 14. Wayne Valley will face a Bulldogs squad coming off a 12-2 non-league loss to Bergen Tech (Hackensack, NJ). The Bulldogs record now stands at 1-2.

With the loss, Lakeland Regional moves to 0-2 on the season. The Lancers travel to NV - Demarest (Demarest, NJ) to face the Norsemen in a Big North match on Friday, April 14. The Norsemen go into the match with a record of 1-3. NV - Demarest lost 13-0 in their recent league match against Bergenfield (Bergenfield, NJ)
