The Lincoln Railsplitters softball team (Lincoln, IL), was routed 4-1 in Wednesday's league test with the host Mattoon Greenwave (Mattoon, IL)

Coming up next, the Greenwave encounter the St. Joseph-Ogden Spartans (St. Joseph, IL) in a non-league test, on Friday, April 14. Mattoon will attempt to improve on its 5-5 season record. The Spartans come into the test with a 9-6 record after their 14-0 league win over Paxton-Buckley-Loda (Paxton, IL).

The Railsplitters (9-5) will now prepare for their test against Metamora (Metamora, IL). The Redbirds come into the non-league test with a 10-3 record. In their last test, Metamora was routed by Pekin (Pekin, IL), 4-1, in a league test.
