Orleans Bulldogs (Orleans, IN) backers exited the stadium thrilled Wednesday as they saw their softball squad run past the visiting Mitchell Bluejackets (Mitchell, IN), 9-1 in a league challenge.

The Bulldogs now own a 1-5 record. They take the field next when they travel to Paoli for a Patoka Lake challenge on Thursday, April 13. Orleans will battle a Rams squad coming off a 9-0 non-league loss to Tell City (Tell City, IN). The Rams record now stands at 1-3.

With the loss, Mitchell falls to 4-4 on the campaign. The Bluejackets travel to Salem (Salem, IN) to battle the Lions in a non-league challenge on Saturday, April 15. The Lions enter the challenge with a record of 0-4. Salem lost 11-1 in their recent league challenge against Brownstown Central (Brownstown, IN)
