North Carolina High School Softball - South Stanly tipped by West Stanly

In Wednesday's non-league contest, the West Stanly Colts (Oakboro, NC) softball team the host South Stanly Rowdy Rebel Bulls (Norwood, NC), by a margin of 4-2.

With the triumph, West Stanly moves its record to 16-1 on the year. The Colts host Central Academy (Monroe, NC) to play the Cougars in a Rocky River 2A/3A contest on Tuesday, April 18. The Cougars come into the contest with a record of 5-10. Central Academy won 12-0 in their recent league contest against Forest Hills (Marshville, NC)

In their next game, the Rowdy Rebel Bulls play the Gray Stone Day Knights (Misenheimer, NC) in a Yadkin Valley 1A/2A contest, on Tuesday, April 18. South Stanly will attempt to move on its 16-2 season record. The Knights come into the contest with a 7-6 record after their 21-0 non-league win over Salisbury (Salisbury, NC).
