The West Stanly Colts (Oakboro, NC) baseball trounced the host Anson Bearcats (Wadesboro, NC), 9-1 in Friday's league contest.

Coming up next, the Colts encounter the Hickory Ridge Ragin' Bulls (Harrisburg, NC) in a non-league contest, on Wednesday, April 17. West Stanly will attempt to better on its 13-3 season record.
