The Boyd Yellowjackets crushed the host Whitesboro Bearcats baseball team by a tally of 9-3 in Friday's league bout.
The Yellowjackets now hold a 24-2 record. They take the field next when they host Callisburg for a 3A Region II District 10 bout on Tuesday, April 16. Boyd will face a Wildcats team coming off a 11-0 league loss to Paradise (Paradise, TX). The Wildcats record now stands at 9-8.
Next, the Bearcats face the Ponder Lions (Ponder, TX) in a 3A Region II District 10 bout, on Tuesday, April 16. Whitesboro will attempt to advance on its 14-9 season record. The Lions enter the bout with a 7-12 record after their 8-2 non-league win over Ranchview (Irving, TX).
