Spectators at Friday's league battle between the West Lincoln Rebels (Lincolnton, NC) and the visiting Bunker Hill Bears (Claremont, NC), saw West Lincoln's baseball squad edge Bunker Hill by a count of 1-0.

Coming up next, the Rebels play the Newton-Conover Red Devils (Newton, NC) in a Catawba Valley Athletic 2A battle, on Tuesday, April 16. West Lincoln will attempt to move on its 9-6 season record. The Red Devils enter the battle with a 6-8 record after their 9-4 league loss to East Burke (Connelly Springs, NC).
