North Carolina High School Baseball - Highland Tech loses to Burns

The Highland Tech Rams baseball team (Gastonia, NC), was overwhelmed 9-1 in Friday's league outing with the visiting Burns Bulldogs (Lawndale, NC)

The Bulldogs now hold a 18-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to East Gaston for a Southern Piedmont 1A/2A outing on Tuesday, April 16. Burns will confront a Warriors team coming off a 9-0 league loss to Cherryville (Cherryville, NC). The Warriors record now stands at 13-5.

Next, the Rams confront the Cherryville Ironmen (Cherryville, NC) in a Southern Piedmont 1A/2A outing, on Tuesday, April 16. Highland Tech will attempt to advance on its 7-9 season record. The Ironmen go into the outing with a 9-7 record after their 9-0 league win over East Gaston (Mt. Holly, NC).
