West Rowan Falcons (Mt. Ulla, NC) fans exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the visiting Concord Spiders (Concord, NC), 9-0 in a league test.

With the win, West Rowan upgrades its record to 14-4 on the season. The Falcons travel to Northwest Cabarrus (Concord, NC) to battle the Trojans in a South Piedmont 3A test on Tuesday, April 16. The Trojans go into the game with a record of 8-11. Northwest Cabarrus won 7-1 in their recent league game against Robinson (Concord, NC)

The Spiders (3-14) will now prepare for their game against A.L. Brown (Kannapolis, NC). The Wonders go into the non-league game with a 6-11 record. In their last game, A.L. Brown was overwhelmed by South Iredell (Statesville, NC), 2-0, in a league game.
