The Covington-Douglas Wildcats baseball team scored 5 runs and limited the visiting Coyle Bluejackets to 2 in the Wildcats non-league victory on Friday.

The Wildcats (14-7) will now prepare for their match against Waynoka (Waynoka, OK). The Railroaders go into the non-league match with a 8-6 record. In their last match, Waynoka by Coyle (Coyle, OK), 11-4, in a non-league challenge.

With the defeat, Coyle falls to 10-10 on the season. The Bluejackets host Waukomis (Waukomis, OK) to battle the Chiefs in a non-league challenge on Saturday, April 13. The Chiefs come into the challenge with a record of 9-12. Waukomis lost 6-4 in their recent non-league challenge against Cherokee (Cherokee, OK)
