David Thibodaux Bulldogs (Lafayette, LA) fans exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the host Westgate Tigers (New Iberia, LA), 17-13 in a league test.

With the win, David Thibodaux upgrades its record to 10-15 on the season. The Bulldogs travel to Westminster Academy (Opelousas, LA) to battle the Crusaders in a non-league test on Saturday, April 13. The Crusaders come into the test with a record of 8-16. Westminster Academy won 10-0 in their recent league test against False River (New Roads, LA)

With the defeat, Westgate falls to 4-19 on the season. The Tigers host West St. Mary (Baldwin, LA) to battle the Wolfpack in a non-league test on Monday, April 15. The Wolfpack come into the test with a record of 9-7. West St. Mary lost 23-1 in their recent non-league test against New Iberia (New Iberia, LA)
