Etowah Eagles (Woodstock, GA) fans exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the host River Ridge Knights (Woodstock, GA), 12-1 in a league test.

With the win, Etowah upgrades its record to 21-5 on the season. The Eagles host Creekview (Canton, GA) to battle the Grizzlies in a 6A Area 6 test on Tuesday, April 16. The Grizzlies come into the test with a record of 12-15. Creekview won 2-1 in their recent league test against Allatoona (Acworth, GA)

With the defeat, River Ridge falls to 16-10 on the season. The Knights travel to Cartersville (Cartersville, GA) to battle the Hurricanes in a non-league test on Tuesday, April 16. The Hurricanes come into the test with a record of 22-4.
