The Simley Spartans (Inver Grove Heights, MN) baseball trounced the visiting Hill-Murray Pioneers (Maplewood, MN), 11-5 in Friday's league contest.
Coming up next, the Spartans play the Mahtomedi Zephyrs (Mahtomedi, MN) in a Classic Suburban contest, on Monday, April 15. Simley will attempt to better on its 1-1 season record. The Zephyrs enter the contest with a 2-1 record after their 4-3 league loss to St. Thomas Academy (Mendota Heights, MN).
The Pioneers now sport a 1-2 record. They take the field next when they host Tartan for a Classic Suburban contest on Monday, April 15. Hill-Murray will play a Titans squad coming off a 11-1 league win over North (North St. Paul, MN). The Titans record now stands at 1-3.
