The Little Cypress-Mauriceville Bears baseball team scored 11 runs and limited the visiting Jasper Bulldogs to 0 in the Bears league victory on Friday.

The Bears (13-9) will now prepare for their match against West Orange-Stark (Orange, TX). The Mustangs go into the 4A Region III District 19 match with a 5-15 record. In their last match, West Orange-Stark was overwhelmed by Silsbee (Silsbee, TX), 11-2, in a league match.

The Bulldogs (2-25) will now prepare for their match against Bridge City (Bridge City, TX). The Cardinals go into the 4A Region III District 19 match with a 15-8 record. In their last match, Bridge City gained a win over Lumberton (Lumberton, TX), 7-3, in a league match.
