The Jones County Greyhounds baseball team scored 4 runs and limited the visiting Locust Grove Wildcats to 0 in the Greyhounds league victory on Friday.
The Greyhounds (13-12) will now prepare for their match against Warner Robins (Warner Robins, GA). The Demons go into the 5A Area 2 match with a 3-14 record. In their last match, Warner Robins edged Eagle's Landing (McDonough, GA), 10-2, in a league match.
The Wildcats (16-11) will now prepare for their match against Union Grove (McDonough, GA). The Wolverines go into the 5A Area 2 match with a 17-5 record. In their last match, Union Grove edged Dutchtown (Hampton, GA), 13-3, in a league match.
