Mississippi High School Baseball - North Pike gets by South Jones

Spectators at Friday's league battle between the North Pike Jaguars (Summit, MS) and the visiting South Jones Braves (Ellisville, MS), saw North Pike's baseball squad knock off South Jones by a count of 8-6.

Coming up next, the Jaguars play the Wesson Cobras (Wesson, MS) in a non-league battle, on Tuesday, April 16. North Pike will attempt to move on its 11-10 season record. The Cobras enter the battle with a 10-10 record after their 7-2 league loss to Franklin County (Meadville, MS).

The Braves now possess a 20-4 record. They take the field next when they host Pearl River Central for a non-league battle on Tuesday, April 16. South Jones will play a Blue Devils squad coming off a 3-2 league win over Hattiesburg (Hattiesburg, MS). The Blue Devils record now stands at 23-4.
