North Carolina High School Baseball - Voyager defeats Oxford Prep

Spectators at Friday's league battle between the Voyager Vikings (Durham, NC) and the visiting Oxford Prep Griffins (Oxford, NC), saw Voyager's baseball squad knock off Oxford Prep by a count of 8-1.

Coming up next, the Vikings play the Durham School of the Arts Bulldogs (Durham, NC) in a non-league battle, on Tuesday, April 16. Voyager will attempt to move on its 9-7 season record.

The Griffins now possess a 9-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Vance Charter for a Triangle North 1A battle on Tuesday, April 16. Oxford Prep will play a Knights squad coming off a 19-3 league win over Eno River (Hillsborough, NC). The Knights record now stands at 4-8.
