The Salem Spartans baseball team scored 23 runs and limited the visiting Patrick Henry Patriots to 2 in the Spartans league victory on Friday.
The Spartans (7-1) will now prepare for their match against Pulaski County (Dublin, VA). The Cougars go into the River Ridge match with a 4-4 record. In their last match, Pulaski County gained a win over Galax (Galax, VA), 15-0, in a non-league match.
