Utica Eisenhower Eagles (Shelby Township, MI) followers exited the stadium in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their lacrosse squad edge the visiting Grosse Pointe South Blue Devils (Grosse Pointe, MI), 7-6 in a league test.
The Eagles now have a 3-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Utica Ford for a non-league test on Tuesday, April 16. Utica Eisenhower will face a Falcons squad coming off a 14-2 non-league win over Lakeview (St. Clair Shores, MI). The Falcons record now stands at 1-0.
In their next game, the Blue Devils face the Seaholm Maples (Birmingham, MI) in a non-league test, on Monday, April 15. Grosse Pointe South will attempt to move on its 2-7 season record. The Maples come into the test with a 1-7 record after their 11-3 non-league loss to Forest Hills Central (Grand Rapids, MI).
