In Friday's non-league battle, the visiting Falls Lake Firebirds soccer squad scored a close 6-0 triumph over the South Granville Vikings.
The Firebirds (9-2) will now prepare for their battle against Research Triangle (Research Triangle Park, NC). The Raptors come into the Super Six 1A/2A battle with a 3-5 record. In their last battle, Research Triangle was overwhelmed by Raleigh Charter (Raleigh, NC), 5-1, in a league battle.
The Vikings (5-7) will now prepare for their battle against Durham School of the Arts (Durham, NC). The Bulldogs come into the Northern Lakes Athletic 2A/3A battle with a 8-5 record. In their last battle, Durham School of the Arts was overwhelmed by Carrboro (Carrboro, NC), 7-0, in a league battle.
