The James Island Trojans held off the visiting Bluffton Bobcats soccer squad by a margin of 1-0 in Friday's league match.
The Trojans now sport a 9-4 record. They play next when they host Lucy Beckham for a AAAA Region 7 match on Tuesday, April 16. James Island will encounter a Bengals squad coming off a 3-2 league win over Hilton Head Island (Hilton Head Island, SC). The Bengals record now stands at 10-6.
With the loss, Bluffton drops to 10-4 on the season. The Bobcats travel to May River (Bluffton, SC) to encounter the Sharks in a AAAA Region 7 match on Tuesday, April 23. The Sharks go into the battle with a record of 10-8.
