In Friday's league battle, the host Lord Botetourt Cavaliers soccer squad scored a close 3-2 triumph over the William Byrd Terriers.
The Cavaliers (2-4) will now prepare for their battle against Fleming (Roanoke, VA). The Colonels come into the Blue Ridge battle with a 3-2 record. In their last battle, Fleming nudged Northside (Roanoke, VA), 1-0, in a league battle.
