In Friday's non-league contest, the Cutter-Morning Star Eagles (Hot Springs National Park, AR) softball team overwhelmed the host Abundant Life Owls (North Little Rock, AR), by a margin of 17-1.

With the triumph, Cutter-Morning Star moves its record to 11-2 on the year. The Eagles host Mountain Pine (Mountain Pine, AR) to play the Red Devils in a 2A Region 5 contest on Monday, April 15. The Red Devils come into the contest with a record of 3-5. Mountain Pine won 10-9 in their recent league contest against Conway Christian (Conway, AR)

In their next game, the Owls play the England Lions (England, AR) in a non-league contest, on Tuesday, April 23. Abundant Life will attempt to move on its 0-7 season record.
