Atlanta Rabbits (Atlanta, TX) backers exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting New Boston Lions (New Boston, TX), 3-1 in a league challenge.

The Rabbits now own a 22-8 record. They take the field next when they travel to Pewitt for a 3A Region II District 14 challenge on Tuesday, April 16.

With the loss, New Boston falls to 9-16 on the campaign. The Lions host Queen City (Queen City, TX) to face the Bulldogs in a 3A Region II District 14 challenge on Tuesday, April 16. The Bulldogs enter the challenge with a record of 19-2. Queen City won 14-0 in their recent league challenge against Redwater (Redwater, TX)
