Spectators at Friday's league match between the Berkeley Stags (Moncks Corner, SC) and the host Goose Creek Gators (Goose Creek, SC), witnessed Berkeley's softball squad prevail over Goose Creek by a count of 10-0.
The Stags now sport a 12-5 record. They play next when they host Wando for a AAAAA Region 6 match on Monday, April 15. Berkeley will face a Warriors squad coming off a 3-1 league win over Cane Bay (Summerville, SC). The Warriors record now stands at 3-3.
With the loss, Goose Creek moves to 0-4 on the season. The Gators travel to Cane Bay (Summerville, SC) to face the Cobras in a AAAAA Region 6 match on Thursday, April 18. The Cobras go into the match with a record of 8-8.
