Breckenridge Buckaroos (Breckenridge, TX) fans exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they saw their softball squad achieve victory over the visiting Dublin Lions (Dublin, TX), 16-0 in a league challenge.

The Buckaroos now sport a 21-10 record. They take the field next when they travel to Early for a 3A Region I District 8 challenge on Tuesday, April 16. Breckenridge will face a Longhorns squad coming off a 21-13 league win over Millsap (Millsap, TX). The Longhorns record now stands at 3-18.

With the loss, Dublin falls to 1-17 on the campaign. The Lions host Comanche (Comanche, TX) to face the Indians in a 3A Region I District 8 challenge on Tuesday, April 16. The Indians enter the challenge with a record of 16-11. Comanche lost 4-2 in their recent league challenge against Eastland (Eastland, TX)
