Bruce Trojans (Bruce, MS) backers exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Ingomar Falcons (New Albany, MS), 7-5 in a league challenge.

The Trojans now own a 18-7 record. They take the field next when they host West Union for a non-league challenge on Saturday, April 13.

With the loss, Ingomar falls to 3-13 on the campaign. The Falcons host East Union (Blue Springs, MS) to face the Urchins in a non-league challenge on Monday, April 15. The Urchins enter the challenge with a record of 19-2. East Union won 5-0 in their recent non-league challenge against Booneville (Booneville, MS)
