The Jarrell Cougars softball team (Jarrell, TX), was routed 20-0 in Friday's league test with the visiting Burnet Bulldogs (Burnet, TX)

Coming up next, the Bulldogs encounter the Marble Falls Mustangs (Marble Falls, TX) in a 4A Region III District 24 test, on Tuesday, April 16. Burnet will attempt to improve on its 14-9 season record. The Mustangs come into the test with a 3-13 record after their 9-6 league loss to Lago Vista (Lago Vista, TX).

The Cougars (14-13) will now prepare for their test against Lampasas (Lampasas, TX). The Badgers come into the 4A Region III District 24 test with a 15-12 record. In their last test, Lampasas was routed by Gateway College Preparatory (Georgetown, TX), 4-0, in a league test.
