California High School Softball - Sultana bounces Burroughs

April 12, 2024: Ridgecrest, CA 93555

The Sultana Sultans routed the host Burroughs Burros softball squad by a final score of 17-1 in Friday's league battle.

The Sultans (16-8) will now prepare for their battle against Oak Hills (Hesperia, CA). The Bulldogs go into the Mojave River battle with a 13-5 record. In their last battle, Oak Hills was routed by Apple Valley (Apple Valley, CA), 9-8, in a league battle.

The Burros now possess a 7-9 record. They play next when they travel to Apple Valley for a Mojave River battle on Monday, April 15. Burroughs will confront a Sun Devils squad coming off a 10-3 non-league loss to Highland (Palmdale, CA). The Sun Devils record now stands at 11-8.
