Chavez Titans (Stockton, CA) backers exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting McNair Eagles (Stockton, CA), 16-11 in a league challenge.

The Titans now own a 6-10 record. They take the field next when they travel to Stagg for a San Joaquin Athletic Association challenge on Wednesday, April 17. Chavez will battle a Delta Kings squad coming off a 8-4 league loss to Linden (Linden, CA). The Delta Kings record now stands at 5-5.

With the loss, McNair falls to 5-13 on the campaign. The Eagles host Weston Ranch (Stockton, CA) to battle the Cougars in a San Joaquin Athletic Association challenge on Monday, April 15. The Cougars enter the challenge with a record of 7-8. Weston Ranch lost 11-4 in their recent league challenge against Franklin (Stockton, CA)
