In Friday's league outing, the host Chester Cyclones softball team scored a nice 19-3 win over the Emerald Vikings.
Next, the Cyclones face the Clinton Red Devils (Clinton, SC) in a AAA Region 4 challenge, on Tuesday, April 16. Chester will attempt to advance on its 4-7 season record.
With the loss, Emerald falls to 1-11 on the campaign. The Vikings travel to Union County (Union, SC) to face the Yellowjackets in a AAA Region 4 challenge on Tuesday, April 16. The Yellowjackets enter the challenge with a record of 13-4. Union County won 14-2 in their recent league challenge against Woodruff (Woodruff, SC)
