Spectators at Friday's league match between the Clifton Mustangs (Clifton, NJ) and the host Passaic Indians (Passaic, NJ), witnessed Clifton's softball squad prevail over Passaic by a count of 12-2.

The Mustangs now sport a 3-3 record. They play next when they host DePaul Catholic for a non-league match on Saturday, April 13. Clifton will face a Spartans squad coming off a 9-2 league loss to Immaculate Heart Academy (Washington Township, NJ). The Spartans record now stands at 3-3.

With the loss, Passaic moves to 2-3 on the season. The Indians host Payne Tech (Newark, NJ) to face the Lions in a non-league match on Saturday, April 13. The Lions go into the match with a record of 1-5. Payne Tech won 10-8 in their recent non-league match against Newark Academy (Livingston, NJ)
