Virginia High School Softball - Colonial Beach gets by King & Queen Central

The Colonial Beach Drifters nipped the visiting King & Queen Central Royal Tigers softball squad by a final score of 1-0 in Friday's non-league battle.
The Drifters (2-7) will now prepare for their battle against Christchurch School (Christchurch, VA). The Seahorses go into the non-league battle with a 5-3 record. In their last battle, Christchurch School was edged by Central Virginia HomeSchool Athletic Association (Amelia Court House, VA), 9-2, in a non-league battle.
The Royal Tigers now possess a 1-3 record. They play next when they host West Point for a Tidewater battle on Tuesday, April 16. King & Queen Central will meet a Pointers squad coming off a 9-6 non-league loss to Northumberland (Heathsville, VA). The Pointers record now stands at 2-5.
