Dakota Indians (Dakota, IL) fans exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting East Dubuque Warriors (East Dubuque, IL), 14-13 in a non-league challenge.

The Indians now sport a 7-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Pearl City for a Northwest Upstate Illini - North challenge on Monday, April 15. Dakota will face a Wolves squad coming off a 11-1 non-league win over West Carroll (Savanna, IL). The Wolves record now stands at 10-3.

With the loss, East Dubuque falls to 4-1 on the campaign. The Warriors host Milledgeville (Milledgeville, IL) to face the Missiles in a non-league challenge on Monday, April 15. The Missiles enter the challenge with a record of 5-3. Milledgeville won 13-11 in their recent league challenge against Polo (Polo, IL)
