With the triumph, Deer Lakes moves its record to 7-2 on the year. The Lancers host Burrell (Lower Burrell, PA) to play the Bucs in a WPIAL 3A 1 contest on Monday, April 15. The Bucs come into the contest with a record of 0-0.

In their next game, the Vikings play the Freeport Yellowjackets (Freeport, PA) in a non-league contest, on Tuesday, April 16. Valley will attempt to move on its 0-1 season record.
