Mississippi High School Softball - Southaven falls to DeSoto Central

In Friday's league outing, the host DeSoto Central Jaguars softball team scored a nice 11-1 win over the Southaven Chargers.

Coming up next, the Jaguars battle the Tipton-Rosemark Academy Rebels (Millington, TN) in a non-league outing, on Monday, April 15. DeSoto Central will attempt to upgrade on its 17-8 season record. The Rebels enter the outing with a 14-9 record after their 3-2 league loss to St. Benedict at Auburndale (Cordova, TN).

The Chargers (8-11) will now prepare for their outing against Lewisburg (Olive Branch, MS). The Patriots enter the 7A Region 1 outing with a 19-5 record. In their last outing, Lewisburg ran past Hernando (Hernando, MS), 6-0, in a league outing.
