Dumas Demons (Dumas, TX) backers exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they saw their softball squad run past the host Perryton Rangers (Perryton, TX), 23-1 in a league challenge.

The Demons now own a 20-4 record. They take the field next when they host Borger for a 4A Region I District 4 contest on Tuesday, April 16. Dumas will battle a Bulldogs squad coming off a 8-2 league loss to Pampa (Pampa, TX). The Bulldogs record now stands at 9-16.

With the loss, Perryton falls to 3-22 on the campaign. The Rangers travel to West Plains (Amarillo, TX) to battle the Wolves in a 4A Region I District 4 challenge on Tuesday, April 16. The Wolves enter the challenge with a record of 11-8. West Plains won 14-4 in their recent league challenge against Hereford (Hereford, TX)
