The East Surry Cardinals softball team (Pilot Mountain, NC), was routed 10-6 in Friday's non-league test with the visiting West Stokes Wildcats (King, NC)

Coming up next, the Wildcats clash with the T.W. Andrews Red Raiders (High Point, NC) in a Mid-State 2A test, on Tuesday, April 16. West Stokes will attempt to improve on its 13-3 season record. The Red Raiders come into the test with a 2-7 record after their 25-20 league loss to Reidsville (Reidsville, NC).

The Cardinals (4-9) will now prepare for their test against North Surry (Mount Airy, NC). The Greyhounds come into the Foothills 2A test with a 4-8 record. In their last test, North Surry edged North Wilkes (Hays, NC), 12-8, in a league test.
