With the triumph, East Wilkes moves its record to 13-2 on the year. The Cardinals host Alleghany (Sparta, NC) to play the Trojans in a Northwest 1A game on Tuesday, April 16. The Trojans come into the game with a record of 1-11.

In their next game, the Sauras play the High Point Christian Academy Cougars (High Point, NC) in a non-league game, on Tuesday, April 16. South Stokes will attempt to move on its 5-12 season record. The Cougars come into the game with a 12-2 record after their 8-3 non-league win over Northwest Guilford (Greensboro, NC).
