With the triumph, Merced improves its record to 7-9 on the year. The Bears host Central Valley (Ceres, CA) to clash with the Hawks in a Central California Conference game on Wednesday, April 17. The Hawks come into the game with a record of 7-11. Central Valley lost 4-0 in their recent league game against Patterson (Patterson, CA)

In their next game, the Gauchos clash with the Atwater Falcons (Atwater, CA) in a Central California Conference game, on Wednesday, April 17. El Capitan will attempt to improve on its 0-7 season record. The Falcons come into the game with a 8-10 record after their 5-0 league win over Merced (Merced, CA).
