Llano Yellowjackets (Llano, TX) backers exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they saw their softball squad run past the visiting Florence Buffaloes (Florence, TX), 12-0 in a league challenge.

The Yellowjackets now own a 18-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Brady for a 3A Region I District 5 challenge on Monday, April 15. Llano will battle a Bulldogs squad coming off a 7-1 league loss to Ingram Moore (Ingram, TX). The Bulldogs record now stands at 3-20.

With the loss, Florence falls to 7-8 on the campaign. The Buffaloes host Blanco (Blanco, TX) to battle the Panthers in a 3A Region I District 5 challenge on Monday, April 15. The Panthers enter the challenge with a record of 18-9. Blanco won 15-1 in their recent league challenge against Comfort (Comfort, TX)
