Texas High School Softball - Fort Worth Country Day bounces Liberty Christian

Fort Worth Country Day Falcons (Fort Worth, TX) fans exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they saw their softball squad nip the host Liberty Christian Warriors (Argyle, TX), 8-2 in a non-league challenge.

The Falcons now sport a 14-4 record. They take the field next when they host Dallas HSAA for a non-league challenge on Tuesday, April 16. Fort Worth Country Day will face a Angels squad coming off a 9-6 non-league win over Atlas HomeSchool (Fort Worth, TX). The Angels record now stands at 16-6.

With the loss, Liberty Christian falls to 4-6 on the campaign. The Warriors travel to Southwest Christian School (Fort Worth, TX) to face the Eagles in a TAPPS Division II District 1 challenge on Tuesday, April 16. The Eagles enter the challenge with a record of 21-7. Southwest Christian School won 11-3 in their recent league challenge against All Saints (Fort Worth, TX)
