The Jefferson Forest Cavaliers softball team scored 12 runs and limited the host Glass Hilltoppers to 0 in the Cavaliers league triumph on Friday.

With the triumph, Jefferson Forest moves its record to 8-2 on the year. The Cavaliers host Brookville (Lynchburg, VA) to clash with the Bees in a Seminole game on Tuesday, April 16. The Bees come into the game with a record of 6-6. Brookville lost 14-3 in their recent league game against Amherst County (Amherst, VA)

In their next game, the Hilltoppers clash with the William Campbell Generals (Naruna, VA) in a non-league game, on Monday, April 15. Glass will attempt to move on its 3-5 season record. The Generals come into the game with a 4-5 record after their 12-6 league loss to Chatham (Chatham, VA).
